NOTE

Italian citizens who have been awarded educational qualifications abroad may be admitted on equal terms with Italian citizens who possess Italian educational qualifications.

The foreign educational qualification must however fulfil the requirements laid down by the Ministries and the enrolment application must be accompanied by Consular certification attesting the actual completion of studies abroad.

This does not apply to qualifications awarded by foreign Schools in Italy, which are subject to specific bilateral agreements or to IBO (International Baccalaureate Organization) Schools operating in Italy (see attachment 2).
